Bulla Dairy Foods is focused on sustainable production processes and are committed to trying to reduce their impact on the environment. In order for Bulla to try and achieve this, they are currently measuring, monitoring and implementing positive improvements in the following areas:
Through the constant and continuous measuring of these implementation strategies, Bulla will continue to find new opportunities for improvement and continue to implement programs and initiatives to make a positive difference to the environment.
Packaging
The Australian Packaging Covenant is an agreement between companies in the supply chain and all levels of government to reduce the environmental impacts of consumer packaging. Bulla is a voluntary member and signatory of the Australian Packaging Covenant. They aim to:
Bulla has adopted assessments of their packaging to understand their impact on the environment. The assessments determine how best to apply improvements to reduce their impact on the environment including waste generation. Bulla has recognised that it is essential to constantly assess and prioritise their environmental impact.
Bulla has also approved a supplier policy (Raw Materials) to ensure they and their consumers understand where their materials come from and how they are made. It also ensures that the companies they deal with have a reciprocal environmental or sustainability policy that is consistent with Bulla's policy and the expectations of their consumers.
